Non-native Edible: Pepper ('Padron'; Spanish Tapas): 3.5" pot

$4.00
sold out

A prolific small green pepper harvested small for Spanish tapas — a super popular appetizer in our household! Grown from Johnny’s Selected Seeds. on the NPTTP nursery grounds.

The seedlings of this pepper variety are ALWAYS floppy, but grow to an impressive height (when supported by a sturdy cage) over a VERY long growing season.

From Johnny’s: “Named after the town where they originated. Harvest Padron peppers when they are 1–1 1/2" long. Typically sautéed in olive oil with a little sea salt and eaten as tapas (appetizers) in Spain.”
